We went out to see the lights at Brookside Gardens tonight. Only 15 bucks during the WEEK!! Plus, it was somewhere near 30 degrees so that kept all the sane people away. Abby was walking around asking to see “more lights.” They had turtles (seen here), dragons, a scary tree monster, Aslan (the lion…which Abby thought was a camel) and a bunch of other fun stuff. Train garden set up indoors and an octagenarian jazz band playing all the “classics” while they sold hot chocolate at TWO BUCKS A CUP!!! All in all – a good trip.

My morning visit to start my day. Hot cup of coffee instead of hot chocolate–really cold this morning, but the pictures warm my heart!
