Abby is in Annie Jr. It’s her first production with the TADA School of Performing Arts here in Suffolk, VA.
There are few times as a father when you are rendered speechless by your children…yesterday was one of them.
I got permission to come to the dress rehearsal and take photos of Abby doing the show. I wanted to have the photos to remember the occasion but also be able to enjoy the show when we go next week.
Abby’s director was very gracious and allowed me to spend 4 hours shooting photos.
1200 shots later and I’ve got a TON of them.
Even through the lens of the camera, Abby was a force to be reckoned with. She performed as an Orphan, a Servant, and as the Star To Be. Man, she nailed all three of them but the confidence she showed in her Star To Be role was just…well…wow.
She had center stage…everyone behind her frozen…singing a solo and she rocked it.
I can’t wait to see the whole show!
