Nathan and Abby at dress rehearsal together. They are both in the same 1st grade class at Trinity Lutheran School and they both carpool to RPM together for dance on Fridays. It was a lot of fun sharing the experience with a classmate this year.
Abby waiting backstage to go on for her ballet number. Isn’t she beautiful?
Kennedy is our good friends, Ashley and Jim’s, daughter. Her younger sister, Sam, dances at RPM as well. Abby and Sam were in the same dressing room so Kennedy came along to hang out with the dancers during the rehearsals and recital. It was so much fun!

Since Sunday was Abby’s birthday, her dance classmates surprised her with a signed card and a serenade of “Happy Birthday” in the dressing room. So sweet!
Cinemagic was the theme of Abby’s dance recital this year. Her ballet routine was to Frozen’s “Let It Go” and her tap routine was to Teen Beach Movie’s “Surf Crazy.”
It was a whirlwind weekend of dress rehearsals and recitals from Fri through Sunday! Yes, Sunday was also Abby’s 7th birthday, so we took her out for Italian (her choice) and Sweet Frog after the last show yesterday.
We are all EXHAUSTED but she danced beautifully and had a great time, so that’s all that matters!
Here are a few pictures of the dance craziness!
This is ADORABLE! She really looks like she is having a Fabulous time! Congratulations, and Happy Birthday, Abby!! We love you!
