We got some snow. About 7 inches of it (but it ranged from 1 inch to more than 12 inches, depending on where you measured). It was so cold that the snow drifted a lot an was really blown around by the wind.
Our across-the-street neighbor has a back yard that is great for sleigh rides so we spent most of the weekend over there.
Here are the photos of that fun!
Enjoy,
J
Getting ready to go outside.
It looks worse than it was. The snow wasn’t THAT bad…but it was pretty cold.
Here’s Abby taking shelter from the cold.
Bean was the first on the play set…she wanted to go down the slide.
Making snow angels.
Bean trying to catch some snow flakes.
The Bean being…bean-y.
Snow angel for the bean.
I helped blow up the tubes for sledding. Tricia “broke” the automatic blower-upper after using it on the donut so I had to do the peppermint manually. I laid down so I wouldn’t pass out!.
Sledding down the back hill.
There she goes!!
What a rush.
Once more, into the breach.
Abby and Addison using their combined weight for extra speed.
Abby had a BLAST.
MOAR SPEDE!
Looks like fun.
Tricia got into the fun as well.
They’re catching a little bit of air off this ramp.
Bean finally gave up walking up the hill and just started eating snow.
Abby tried to stand up and “surf” down the hill. Didn’t quite make it!
Here’s Bean eating more snow while Abby waits to jump in.
STANDING UP!!
This is childhood glee, if I’ve ever seen it.
Tricia with two kids having the time of their lives!!
You got some great shots of the essence of happy children!! Love it!!
Snow in Suffolk! What a wonderful memory for the entire family! Great pictures!
Great pictures! The the angel making in the snow! My favorite thing to do in fresh snow!
