Hello again.
I’m a little late with yesterday’s post, but I’m on vacation, for crying out loud, and these pictures don’t process themselves!!!
We had breakfast at Dock Mike’s Pancake house. EXCELLENT food. The woman who was greeting everyone had a life-size cutout of HERSELF holding a sign saying Welcome. Seemed kind of redundant, if you ask me. I wanted to take a picture of her with her arm around herself, but Tricia wouldn’t let me! 🙂
After breakfast, we went out to the Cape May Point Lighthouse and Nature Center. Got some great pictures and had fun walking around. Abby loved the freedom.
Came home for a nap and then spent the afternoon on the beach. Abby walked off by herself following a set of tire tracks. She got about 100 yards down the beach before we yelled at her to come back. She probably would have kept going had we not said anything. Just trundling along looking at her feet and walking away. Too cute.
Dinner was at Henry’s – the first place we went to last year. Had a great early dinner and then came back to the house for books and bedtime. Another good day.
Still windy and overcast. We haven’t spent any time swimming, but we’re having a great time just wandering around town and going on “adventures.”
And now…the pictures.
Enjoy,
J
What’s the “abby mark?” I love these pics! Looks like despite the cold you are having a great time! Glad to hear it. Keep them coming!
This is my kind of vacation, quite, peaceful, and so beautiful—love it!!!
Oh, by the way Jacob that picture of you and Abby is just so good, with the waves, etc. it is like WOW!!!!
Jacob and Abby against the surf is also my favorite pic of the day! Looks so dramatic with such serious expressions and those stormy waves. Something about that little red bucket adds a touch of whimsy. : ) Gamma loves Abby’s curly hair! Now, which one to save as Granddad’s screensaver of the day?
I love the pictures!!! The one of Abby on your shoulders is too funny, her hand gesture is as if she’s going, “Taaa Daaa!”
Enjoy the rest of your vacation, I can’t wait to see you all next week!
Love,
Carley
