MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Greetings from the cold northeast. Still have snow on the ground and the forecast says it’s not going to warm up any time soon. They did FINALLY come and shovel out all the street parking so we can get back to not worrying about where the car is going to go if we leave the house!
Christmas at the Wessler household is proceeding per schedule. We were up at 0730 this morning and brought Abby downstairs to begin the Christmas present bonanza. Tricia and I had fun as well but watching Abby was the highlight. I’m on picture overload here and am posting another 18 pics from this morning.
Enjoy and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

The three of us getting home after the 4pm Creche service at Church. Abby is in her beautiful, Gran-made Christmas dress.
The tree as we left it at 11pm last night. Looks like Santa came a little early so Mommy and Daddy could sleep!
It’s what she asked for…after we had bought it!
She put Cinderella on the back step as soon as she could ride the trike…Cindy’s been there ever since.
Chatting with Uncle Rudy in Iraq – he’s having Christmas too, although, for OPSEC (operations security), Santa came at an undisclosed early hour to throw off the terrorists (according to Rudy)
Daddy and Abby chattin’ with Uncle Rudy. He has a view of the our Christmas Tree.
Abby talkin’ with Uncle Rudy. He always brings a smile to her face.
Abby opening some books. She would have been content to just read those for the rest of the morning. We had to remind her that she still had boxes to open!
Tricia and her new spreads!
THE YOGA BALL!!
Jacob gets a hand-knit hat from Tricia (his other one has disappeared)
Trying on the hat and posing like a goof
An overhead view of the morning’s damage – but we’re still not done. Two more families left to visit.
Playing with the Duplo blocks Mommy and Daddy bought.
Nothing like giving your child one of your favorite childhood toys. Although, they’ve upgraded and now the thing’s in 3-freakin’-D.
Jacob with his gift from Uncle Rudy and Aunt Carley – It’s Ally McBeal, a crazy lawyer show from the 1990’s. The COMPLETE SERIES!
Her two favorite gifts – the tricycle and the Viewmaster.
Mommy’s hand-made dress rack.
Just FYI…Ally McBeal was from Uncle Rudy AND Aunt Carley. Looks like you all had a blast. LOVED the pictures of Abby while we were chatting on the computer. My favorite, by far, was #3. She just kills me w/ that silly laugh and gorgeous smile! Merry Christmas!
Fantastic Pictures! Abby must be thrilled with her pink trike! Looks like you had a very Merry Christmas! Agree with Matt, that laugh of Abby’s is priceless! She can light-up the room with her laughter! Makes me smile just thinking about it! : )
Tricia – the hooks came out awesome!!!

Oh How I love the pictures! What a beautiful family, what a beautiful baby, truly, truly blessed—Happy New Year!
The Christmas Eve picture is awsome—WOW!!!
Did the pictures you took of our family turn out from Christmas Day?
Yeah, they did. But I didn’t get that many of them, and they are all of Abby ripping paper off of presents. In most of them, because I was so close to her, her head is chopped off! That’s why I didn’t post them.
Ah Oh, we got two “Grandma Geyers” posting here! Rhonda posted 12/28/09. June posted twice on 01/01/10. Changing mine to “Dollhouse” Grandma. LOL
