Okay, here we go. Part 2:
Day 2 was all Magic Kingdom, all the time. We started with a breakfast buffet in the resort with Lilo, Stitch, Pluto, and Mickey. All in Hawaiian gear. Then it was off to the Magic Kingdom to FINALLY see Cinderella’s Castle. We rode the obligatory “It’s a Small World” and saw Mickey’s Fantasmic show. Lunch was a relaxing stop at the Plaza hotel after enjoying an afternoon parade.
We got to meet the princesses as well. Cinderella, Belle and Aurora one right after the other. Abby was in heaven. She chatted with all three and even asked (demanded, really) Princess Aurora to write a message to Abby. It was very cute. She was in awe of these women.
The big surprise was at 4:20pm. Abby got a trip to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique where she had an appointment to be made into a Princess. She chose Princess Aurora with some excellent hair and make-up choices as well. Think Toddlers and Tiaras and then add some Disney glitter to the mix. Once she was in full Aurora gear, she was a different young lady. Her princess persona was very gracious and demure. She took great pride in bowing at everyone.
After the Boutique, we watched the Cinderella Castle stage show and Abby spent the entire time waving so furiously at Princess Aurora (while DRESSED as princess Aurora, mind you) that she almost hurt her arm. Dinner was at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and…wait for it…PIGLET!! We also got to watch the fireworks from inside. Very nice. Very nice indeed.
