It was a great week a while back when Ellie turned 7. She started the day with donuts at O’Doodle Doo’s for her and the whole class! Lunch was Chicken Nuggets (she got the rare chance to buy lunch because, #birthday). Dinner was pasta at Red Robin (which was a double win because Dad had a free birthday burger waiting on his rewards card!). Friday, Ellie’s 1st Grade teacher bought her ice cream at lunch!
Then, on Saturday, it was the BOUNCE HOUSE!!
Ellie had some friends from school over for lunch and a bit of bouncing. When I say “a bit” I mean “HOURS AND HOURS!!” Those kids were maniacs-in-the-house. Lunch was Ellie’s choice – Hot Dogs, Hint-of-Lime Tostitos w/Salsa, and Applesauce! Cake, and more bouncing rounded things out.
After her school friends left, the neighborhood friends came over and we BOUNCED AGAIN!!!
Tricia and I got in the bounce house for a bit. Dad learned that “adult body mass” is the reason they have stakes for the bounce house. After a quick “deflating event,” the stakes were used and all the kids were safe once again! (hehe)
Here are a ton of photos from the day!
Enjoy,
J
A wonderful day to commemorate 7. Happy Birthday Observed Ellie!
Love, love, super love! I enjoyed seeing the joy on the little guy’s face as Ellie blew out the candles; the sassiness of the group of them in your studio, the GQ serious face shot, and Abby’s slam dunk (Oh, an also that she still uses my quilt!!). Love you all, and thank you for sharing.
Looks like you had a wonderful Birthday. Happy 7th.
I love everything about her day! A super special day for a super amazing girl. Thanks for sharing with us and inviting us to the AWESOME PARTY!!
