IT’S HERE! IT’S HERE!!!
The camera came in the mail today! Tricia was home for the delivery and gave me the (promised) phone call with the famous words “the Eagle has landed!”
It’s the Canon 5D Mark II in all it’s magnesium alloy body glory. I’ve got the new 24-105 f4 L USM lens as well.
Had to take some pictures of the camera itself and then…the inaugural shot. Very first one. It was going to be beautiful. Tricia and I, side by side in planned lighting glory. We set ourselves, focused, hit the timer, and then…
nothing.
I forgot to put the flash remote on the stinkin’ camera. First frame of my new camera is totally black. Didn’t even save it. Couldn’t bring myself to do it.
So, after the jump, you get to see the FOURTH first frame from the Canon 5D Mark II. Too much pressure on that first shot.

So Docs, is there such a thing as camera addiction??? I must say however, that she’s beautiful. Thanks for the front and back shots! And I LOVE the one of you and Tricia!! (I put it on my new Ipod!!)
