Greetings,
So, we’ve been home from Missouri for a few weeks and I figured I should post the rest of the photos from the trip.
After the Arch, we spent the next two days just hanging out in Sullivan with Grandma and Grandpa. Â We got to see Uncle Tony and Aunt Beth as well as Aunt Jeanie. Â We went out to Uncle Jerry and Aunt Mary Lou’s farm for a visit. Â Abby wanted to see the play house and IMMEDIATELY noticed that it had been painted. Â She hasn’t been there in 2 years! Â It only took her 3 seconds to notice the change.
We figured that since we’d be out in the country with acres of rolling grass we should put the girls in something nice. Â So, orange dresses it was (thanks Mimi!) and off we went to play.
Here are the photos from that afternoon. Â There are some adorable ones in there.
Enjoy,
J
Abby feeding the goldfish in the pond.
Abby and Ellie going across the bridge to the little house. That thing was a death trap but, man, was it cute.
Elizabeth inside the playhouse. She loved playing with that “Bean-sized” table.
Abby and Great Grandma Wessler
Mommy and Ellie.
Abby in the sunlight.
Ellie marching around like she owns the place.
Ellie and Tricia sitting in the creek bed. Ellie is throwing stones into the water. You can see one in mid air right in the corner of the dark background.
Abby standing on the bridge. She had a bit of coaching for this photo but she sells it, don’t you think?
Ellie and Uncle Jerry. She grabbed his hand and dragged him across that bridge. She wanted to get over there…NOW!
Ellie walking up to see what Abby is doing.
Ellie in profile.
Yes, I was there too!
Abby in the globe. I really like this photo…except for the car with the trunk open waaaay in the background reflection. Sigh…
My absolute favorite image of Tricia and Ellie. I didn’t coach this or anything. This was real life. Just like it happened. I was just lucky enough to be there to catch it.
I think these are even better than the last!! Some really great shots, and Grandpa and I like the last one as well. It’s been fun walking in their footsteps (figuratively and literally!)
