Okay, so I’m a little bit late with this one.
Thursday was our MCV day. We had breakfast and then headed to downtown MCV to see the old alma mater. We stopped by Larrick Center (where I proposed to Tricia!) and found out that they had re-built it! The place was AWESOME! Very nice. Then we headed over to the Alumni House to say hello to some of my friends. We had a nice chat with everybody and got the scoop on the new buildings and what was where.
We wandered around for a couple of hours before it was time for lunch – CHRISTOPHER’S RUNAWAY GOURMAY! [sic] We both had the chicken salad and were instantly transported back to 3rd year when we were running the hospital! Great times.
Abby wasn’t going to make it much after lunch so we headed back to the Hotel for a nap. Dinner was Bottom’s Up Pizza (YUM!) and then a walk down the canal walk. A great day, all around.
Friday we swam in the morning and then came home in the afternoon. We had a great trip and it was nice seeing (and eating at) all our old favorites.
Enjoy,
J
I felt like I was on the trip with you!! What great photos. Loved them all, and the reminiscing over Christopher’s . . . gosh that was a great place to eat. I’ll have to make a trip up there for the dilled tuna. Glad you had a good trip!
Can’t help but notice how quickly she is growing, especially her hair. I really miss you guys.
