Abby has become very interested in brides lately. They’re referenced in all the Disney princess stories, we recently had the wedding of Matt and Carley, and we’re attending the wedding of my cousin Sue in a week and a half, so brides have been in our regular conversation a lot. She asked me this morning if she could see my “bride dress” but I explained it was in a special box at Mimi’s house. I do, however, have my “bride hat” hanging in the closet that Gran made for me! So I pulled out my veil and beaded headband and she got to try them on. I just HAD to take pictures of her tip-toeing around the room all enchanted by how beautiful she felt! It was adorable! Now she wants me to make her a bride dress that fits. Hmmm, guess that might have to be next year’s Halloween project since this year’s butterfly costume is almost complete and I’m NOT starting over! 🙂

Yes, time flies! She will be a bride soon enough, but right now, at 3, she is adorable! Love it!
