Another awesome day. Woke up at 1030 this morning! So awesome. Decided to snowshoe down to the Deli Bakery for some breakfast (which really turned into lunch by the time we got there!). I had a chicken salad sandwich and Tricia had the Austrian Bratwurst. Very nice.
We started the afternoon off with more snowshoeing and then went back to the hotel room to change into swim suits. We spent some time in the outdoor hot tub, then the indoor pool, then the sauna. It was really nice.
After a quick shower, we headed off to dinner at Crop which was the best dinner we have had since we got here. We had the lounge area to ourselves because no one without kids eats at 6pm but we are just in the habit, I guess. I had fish and chips and Tricia had risotto. We had a few of their craft beers and they were excellent.
Back to the hotel room for some relaxing before bed and then tomorrow we’ll be up to do it again.
Here are some photos.
Enjoy!
J
and here’s me about to enjoy my fish and chips. What a day.
Here’s Tricia enjoying some fried pickles…
This is the lounge at Crop. The entire place looked like this. It was crazy. Such good food.
A selfie Tricia took by balancing her iPhone on a nail in a post. Seriously. It turned out great!
Inside the bakery cafe. See the giant eclair sitting on the table?? So yummy. Tricia had the apple strudel
Here’s a panorama I did that shows the Deli Bakery on the left and the frisbee golf field straight ahead. It was closed because, you know, snow!
Here’s Tricia standing next to the creek.
We came across a little creek during our hike.
Monday morning with some cloudy skies. We are halfway down the mountain looking back up at the lodge.
Dinner on Sunday night. I already took a big bite of my burger before Tricia could take a photo.
A selfie at the top of the mountain.
Me at the cabin at the top of the mountain during snack time on Sunday.
Tricia took a panorama of the hotel with her iPhone. I think it turned out nicely.
A lovely treat waiting for us at the hotel room. Thanks Mom and Dad Geyer!
Our first meal in Vermont. Home-grown cider and a local beer. Very nice.
Here’s a photo from Saturday when we were traveling.
These are GREAT pictures of you both, but who actually ENJOYS eating fried pickles???!?!?! 🙂
